Maca Bana is solar-powered by a photovoltaic system with 111 solar panels. Full responsible travel policy available on request, environmental measures include solar water heaters, composting, organic nursery & fruit orchard on site, no chemicals in pool, energy saving lights, motion sensors or photo-cells for garden lights, etc. The two acres of hillside land on which Maca Bana sits comprises of ~ 5 deluxe banas with a sleeping capacity of 1-4 persons (use of one or two bedrooms; 2 single storey villas, 3 two storey villas) and ~ 2 one-bedroom banas with a sleeping capacity of 1-2 persons. All our villas are artistically decorated and all unique, with enchanting murals and hidden delights for the eye to slowly reveal. The fully landscaped tropical garden has an infinity-edge swimming pool overlooking the beach and a central rock waterfall feature with a terrapin pond.
These deluxe villas are very spacious and designed for maximum comfort and privacy inside and outside. Each villa has two air-conditioned bedrooms to either side of the kitchen, a four-poster master bedroom with en suite bathroom and a second bedroom with twin queens and second en suite bathroom, with walk-in closets throughout. All bedrooms have writing desks, safes, ceiling fans and cable TV. All bathrooms have double vanity sinks with recessed medicine cabinets, a large shower and a separate toilet. The kitchens are fully fitted with wooden cabinets and fine European stainless steel appliances, a gourmet cook’s dream: fridge with freezer and ice maker, oven, dishwasher, microwave, Nespresso machine, kettle, coffee maker and blender along with all crockery and cooking utensils. They all have a central island fitted with cooking hob and breakfast bar or dining table in the kitchen. Other amenities include direct dial telephones, a stereo system with CD-player and wireless internet access throughout the property. Each villa has a private utility room in a separate structure, complete with washing machine and dryer, ironing boards and irons for guest’s personal laundry requirements. Both villas feature comfortable seating areas and Pineapple has a reading nook with bookshelves that help you to while away a few stolen holiday moments. The villa windows are all mosquito screened.
